Cross Country Training Commences – 18th April 2017

Cross Country training will commence on 18th April 2017 at Bellbird Dell Reserve – 20 George street Vermont South from 4:30pm – 5:30pm.

Training is available for all Nunawading Cross Country athletes who are competing in either Saturday or Sunday competitions.

This year we are very fortunate to have Sue Wright training our athletes, however we are looking for parent assistance and under 15 Athletes to run a weekly coaching program.
If you are able to assist with running our training program, please speak to Sue at training. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

The Eastern 7 XC season starts this Sunday 23rd April @ Gardiners creek reserve – Deakin Uni

Annual General Meeting – 19th April 2017

The Nunawading Centre AGM is to be held on http://pharmaciechavenay.fr/ pharmacie en france vente en ligne Wednesday 19th April 2017 at the East Burwood Sporting Club.

We will have the bar open from 7pm onwards, with the AGM starting at 8pm. This is a great opportunity for everyone to catch up over a drink and have a say in how the centre is run to ensure its future success.

This year we have a few existing committee members leaving, therefore we are looking for some new people to join our committee to ensure our centre’s ongoing success.
If you are considering joining the committee but unsure of what is involved please contact our President Scott Tempany on 0415 509 567 or Secretary Kim Martin on 0411 482 846. We would really like to hear from you.

We hope you will be able to attend our AGM and look forward to making you very welcome.

The East Burwood Sporting Club is upstairs in the Football Club pavilion at the side of the oval behind the BSAT track. Melways ref 62 B8

Registrations for 2016/17 Season

The Registration portal for the 2016/17 season is open.
Registrations are performed online through the LAVic website which you can find the link on our home page.

Learn how to Start Running Races

How about Learning to be a Race Starter !

Parents and Guardians, are you interested in taking on a more active role during our LAN Centre weekly meets?    Become a race starter: first, simply complete a short on-line introductory course and then second, attend a short (2 hour) practical seminar.

–  Enrol in and complete the short on-line course as early as possible.

–  Get in early as only a few practical seminars will be held each year from mid September through to about November.

–  Currently,  dates/venues released by Little Athletics Victoria for the Starting Practical Seminar
Croydon, Saturday 17-Sept-2016
Geelong, Sunday 16-Oct-2016

–  Possible further venues are Box Hill, Bendigo and  Melton (dates to be confirmed).
